About

Mune Gowda S

Cloud Engineer

I host, manage, and monitor the systems a product runs on, and I build with security as a starting condition rather than an afterthought — hardened deployments, controlled access, and infrastructure that's watched, not just launched.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE

Every layer should fail loudly, recover quietly, and leave a record of what happened.

Focus areas

What I actually spend time on

HOSTING

Standing up production infrastructure

Containerizing applications, routing them through HTTPS, and getting them onto real servers with a domain — not a laptop demo.

MANAGING

Keeping systems in a known state

Role-based access, backups, and the small operational habits — like knowing the difference between tearing a stack down and destroying its data — that keep a live system predictable.

MONITORING

Watching for what breaks

Live checks and alerting so a problem is caught before someone else reports it, plus a habit of verifying security controls with real tests instead of assuming they work.

SECURITY

Building with security in from the start

Access control, request rate limiting, and safe handling of user data are part of the first version of a system, not something bolted on after launch.
